Patellar (kneecap) dislocation is a relatively common knee injury that occurs when the kneecap moves out of its normal position. This can be a painful and debilitating injury, as the kneecap is an essential joint for movement and stability. Patellar reduction, or realigning the kneecap back into its proper position, is a crucial step in the treatment process. With proper orthopedic care, most patients return to normal activities. #patellar
